We have been beyond blessed to be working with Grace Church on Tuesday night for Akina Kid's Club. As part of their loyalty rewards program, we are able to take kids who've come to Kid's Club for 12 nights to breakfast at their church, and to attend the service. This past weekend we took the girls, and soon we will be taking the boys. They always love it, and we love the chance to help them see the body of Christ at work! Plus, it is a fantastic way to build relationships, which has proven essential in working with the community.
The 12 passenger van that was donated this past summer has been an essential part of being able to take more kids and families to church! For example, we were able to bring 15 kiddos to the special SUPER Sunday service at Emmanuel in Spring Lake Park to see Tim Tebow. The students really enjoyed that service too. We are also able to use the van for our literacy program we hope to see grow in the upcoming months. This is just another example of how God does it all-the providing, the ministry, the open doors. We would be lost without Him!
